Hello Kitty Wines come to Vegas on Saturday, June 12 at the Double Helix Bar in the Palazzo Hotel for a free tasting from 6-8pm.

If you don’t know Hello Kitty, she is a Japanese cartoon cat invented by the design company Sanrio in 1974. She was created without a mouth because she speaks from the heart so no one language is necessary.

Hello Kitty has been very popular with children around the world. She is featured on 50,000 products in more than 60 countries. She has 2 theme parks called Harmonyland and Puroland with over 1.5 million visitors a year. Today, Hello Kitty does $1billion in licensing a year.

Now as Hello Kitty enters the wine market, you can try her latest wines from the little Kitty girl that’s all grown up. At age 35, Miss Kitty has crossed over to the adult world.

From the famous Lombardi region in Italy, Hello Kitty offers 4 distinct DOC certified (Vino a Demoninazione di Origine Controllata) wines. That means these wines are grown in a specific region with very specific rules of production they must follow.

Try the  Hello Kitty Angel White made from Pinot Noir free run juice or the  Hello Kitty Devil Red that’s garnet red in color with a wild flowers bouquet. You might also like the Hello Kitty Sparkling Brut Rose with its deep red pink hue and rose petal nose or the semi-sweet sparkler with delicate bubbles known as the Hello Kitty Sparkling “Sweet Pink.”
